Our crews are actively working to address as many areas as possible to keep roads open. *********************************************************************** Seasonal Summer Help The Manistee County Road Commission will accept applications from qualified individuals for SEASONAL Summer Help with other duties as assigned.  These positions will be for up to an 89 working days period (approximately June 1, 2026 through September 24, 2026 subject to actual days worked) consisting of up to 40 hours per week. Overtime may be worked on an as-needed basis.  Seasonal employees are not eligible for benefits.  Applicants must possess an excellent driving record and able to pass new hire and random drug and alcohol screens. Duties for this position include but are not limited to - Flagging, manually patching blacktop, cutting brush, using hand tools and power tools.
