2026 MANISTEE COUNTY ROAD COMMISSION
TRUCK SPEED AND WEIGHT RESTRICTION NOTICE
Effective at 6:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 18, 2026 the Annual Truck Speed and
Weight Restrictions will be enforced on all Manistee County Road Commission County
Certified roads with the exception of the following Roads and Limits where normal loading will
be permitted but the truck speed restriction of 35 m.p.h. shall be enforced:
• Beers Road from Wexford County to Marilla Road
• Coates Highway from U.S. 31 to East County Line/ Number 1 Road
• CR 590 (Eastlake Road) from Stronach Road to M-55
• CR 590 (Merkey Road, Filer City Road) from U.S. 31 to Stronach Road
• CR 598 (Eight Mile Road) from U.S. 31 to M-22
• CR 598 (Nine Mile Road) from U.S. 31 West one half mile
• CR 598 (Nine Mile Road) from U.S. 31 to Marilla Road
• CR 600 (Thirteen Mile Road) from U.S. 31 to Harlan Road
• CR 604 (Glovers Lake Road) from M-22 to US-31
• CR 669 (Healy Lake Rd and Springdale Rd) from Kaleva VL Limits to Copemish VL Limits
• CR 669 (High Bridge Road) from M-55 to CR 598 (Nine Mile Road)
• CR 669 (Thompsonville Rd) from Springdale Rd to the North County Line
• Crescent Beach Road from Lakeshore Road to M-22
• Erdman Road from Onekama Village Limits to Joseph Road
• Heuer Hill Road /Camp Road from South County Line to Stronach Road
• Hoxyville Road from Seaman Road (North) to South Snyder Road
• Joseph Road from Erdman Road to 0.28 Mile West
• Kott Road/Siuda Road/Dontz Road from Lakeshore Road to M-22
• Kurick Road from CR 669 (Springdale Road) to M-115
• Lakeshore Road from U.S. 31 to Crescent Beach Road
• Maple Road from City Limits to South County Line Road
• Marilla Road from CR 598 (Nine Mile Road) to Beers Road
• Merkey Road from Maple Road to U.S. 31
• Milarch Road from Onekama Village Limits to Thirteen Mile Road
• Nelson Street from Stronach Road to Manistee City Limits
• Nessen City Road from Copemish Village Limits to the North County Line
• Renaissance Drive from M-55 to Eastlake Road
• Seaman Road from Hoxyville Road to M-55
• Seaman Road from South County Line Road to Hoxyville Road
• South County Line Road from U.S. 31 to Quarterline Road
• Stronach Road from U.S. 31 to M-55
• Twenty-Eighth Street (28th St.) from U.S. 31 to CR 590 (Filer City Road)
